SACHIN TENDULKAR(GOD OF CRICKET)

      Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar,born 24 april 1973,is a former indian cricketer and captain,regarded as one of the greatest batsman of all time.He started cricket at the age of 11  and his first test debut on 15 november 1989 against pakistan in karachi at the age of 16.He is the only player to have scored one hundred international centuries,first batsman to score double century in one day international match and the only player to complete more then 30,000 runs in international cricket.
              Sachin's father was great fan of music director Sachin Dev Burman,so that he choose the name for him.His father was marathi novelist and mother Rajani Tendulkar was insurance agent.He has 2 sibling brother and sister.His half brother Ajit plays a pivotal role in his career,he was the one who introduce him in front of his coach Ramakant Achrekar  and convenced him to give second chance  with hidden observation condition because that time Sachin got lot of depression due to Ramakant observation.
    In 2002, just halfway through his career, Wisden Cricketers' Almanack ranked him the second greatest Test batsman of all time, behind Don Bradman, and the second greatest ODI batsman of all time, behind Viv Richards.^[6] Later in his career, Tendulkar was a part of the Indian team that won the 2011 World Cup.

National Honours

• 1994 – Arjuna Award, by the Government of India for his outstanding achievement in sports.
• 1997–98 – Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, India's highest honour given for achievement in sports.
• 1999 –Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award.
• 2001 – Maharashtra Bhushan Award, Maharashtra State's highest Civilian Award.
• 2008 –Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian award.
• 2014 –Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award. 

     
    In December 2012, Tendulkar announced his retirement from ODIs.^[21] He retired from Twenty20 cricket in October 2013^[22] and subsequently announced his retirement from all forms of cricket,^[23][24] retiring on 16 November 2013 after playing his 200th and final Test match, against the West Indies in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium

         On the Personal life Tendulkar married Anjali in1995,and he having two children Sara and Arjun.Both are grown up now.Business side Tendulkar opened two restaurant at mumbai Tendulkar's and Sachin's .These two restaurants are partnership basis with Sanjay Narang.He is Co-owner of Kochi ISL team and co-owner of Bangluru badminton team.

       Tendulkar was elected to seat number 103 in the Rajya Sabha and took the oath on 4 June.He refused to take the bungalow allotted to him in New Delhi calling it "waste of tax payer's money" as he resides in Mumbai.He met with some controversy over his attendance in Rajya Sabha proceedings.Tendulkar has also been accused of not using development fund Rajya sabha members receive.

MILKHA SINGH(ATHLETE)

                        Milka Singh(born between 1929 and 1935),also known as The Flying Sikh,is a former Indian track & field sportsman,who was introduced to the sport while serving in the Indian Army.He was the only Indian athelete to win an individual athletics gold medal at a Commonwealth Games.He also won gold medals in the 1958 and 1962 Asian Games.He represented India in the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne ,the 1960 Summer Olypics in Rome and the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. 

                                Milkha Singh has led a life dominated by running,running,running ......From a boy who escaped death during partition,to a juvenile delinquent who stole and outran from police,to a young Army recruit who ran very first race to win special previleges from him( a daily glass of milk).After his first race he became athlete default.
